Briefly describe what you make?
We are sisters who make handcrafted treasures for women and children.
What mediums do you enjoy working in most?
Love working with felt and fabrics (preferably decorating fabrics because they are more durable.
How long have you been creating craft?
We have been crafting since childhood; having a very creative mother was helpful.
How did you get started?
Mom
Where does the name of your shop come from?
Mahalo is a Hawaiian word meaning "Thank you" or "Be in divine breath" We love Hawaii and wanted something unique and beautiful.
What would you most want people to know about your work?
Each project is fun for us. If it weren't fun we would probably stop doing it. We also want everyone to know that 10% of our profits go to an organization known as Winghaven. Winghaven rescues women and children from domestic abuse and cares for their emotional/spiritual and physical needs for an entire year. www.winghaven.org
What words of advice do you have for other artists?
Keep God and family first in your life!
